# Delete a trigger subscription (beta)

`DELETE /api/v1/connections/{connection_id}/trigger-subscriptions/{subscription_id}`

This endpoint is in beta. Its request and response may change.

Deletes a trigger subscription, so the account or connection stops receiving the trigger. A polling subscription stops polling. An event already on its way to your endpoint is still delivered. To receive the trigger again, create a new subscription.

**Path parameters**

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `connection_id` | string | Yes | ID of the connection, in this environment. Up to 64 characters. |
| `subscription_id` | string | Yes | ID of the trigger subscription to delete. It must belong to the connection named in the path. |

**Errors**

- `400`: Invalid request - connection_id is not a valid connection ID, or subscription_id is not a valid trigger subscription ID
- `404`: Not found - no subscription with this ID exists on this connection in this environment, or Triggers isn't turned on for your environment
- `500`: Internal error - the subscription could not be deleted; retry the request

**Python SDK:** `scalekit_client.actions.triggers.delete_subscription`

Delete one trigger subscription. Retried on `UNAVAILABLE`, so a `ScalekitNotFoundException` can also mean an earlier attempt of this same call already deleted it.
